Digital Signage
Digital signage is a sub-segment of electronic signage. Digital displays use technologies such as LCD, LED, projection and e-paper to display digital images, video, web pages, weather data, restaurant menus, or text. They can be found in public spaces, transportation systems, museums, stadiums, retail stores, hotels, restaurants and corporate buildings etc., to provide wayfinding, exhibitions, marketing and outdoor advertising.
Commercial Display
A commercial display is used for a wide variety of commercial setting. Examples include a display in a lobby or waiting area displaying TV programs, digital signage, way-finding kiosk, menu board at a restaurant where there can be higher temperatures, more exposure to dust, grease, etc. The amount of time they are typically on vary anywhere from a couple hours a day to 24/7 and 365 days a year. Because of this, there a wide variety of commercial displays built for different types of applications.
Digital Kiosk
Digital kiosks are computer terminals featuring specialized hardwares and softwares that provide access to information and applications for communication, commerce, entertainment, or education. Digi-kiosks are used by retail, food service and hospitality to improve customer service. They are typically placed in high foot traffic settings such as shops, hotel lobbies or airports.
Projectors
Projectors or image projectors are optical devices that project an image (or moving images) onto a surface, commonly a projection screen. Most projectors create an image by shining a light through a small transparent lens, but some newer types of projectors can project the image directly, by using lasers. A virtual retinal display, or retinal projector, is a projector that projects an image directly on the retina instead of using an external projection screen.
